Learning progress, advertising, and the economic calendar.

About the app

FX News Coach is provided by Joachim Shilongo. This policy describes the version 3 learning app, including its lessons, practice simulations, advertising, and embedded economic calendar. The app does not require a developer account or offer brokerage accounts or real-money trading.

Learning progress on your device

The app saves lesson experience points, completed lesson identifiers, learning streaks, and the date of your last counted activity in local app settings. These records support progress displays and are not uploaded to a developer-operated learning database by the app. Practice selections are used to run the simulation.

Local progress remains until the app’s data is deleted. Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to device and backup behavior. Offloading an app can retain its data; device backups may also preserve settings. Manage backups separately in your Apple settings.

Advertising and tracking

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google’s SDK may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, other product interactions, crash information, and performance diagnostics for advertising, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention.

The app requests Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. Where permission is granted, device identifiers and usage information may be used for advertising tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. You can change your decision in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Denying tracking does not stop all advertising or diagnostic processing.

Data handling also depends on Google’s services, device settings, and applicable choices. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising information. This app does not promise that all ads are non-personalized.

The embedded economic calendar

The Today tab loads Forex Factory’s calendar inside an embedded browser. Loading that page makes a network request to Forex Factory and its service providers, who may receive your IP address, browser or device information, and interactions with the page. Their page may use cookies, browser storage, advertising, and other third-party technologies.

Forex Factory is operated by Fair Economy, Inc. Its privacy policy and notices govern its processing and available choices. Information you submit to that website is handled by that service. The calendar’s website data is separate from the app’s saved lesson progress. You can choose not to open the Today tab.

Information you send to support

If you email the developer, your email address, message, and any information you choose to include are used to respond and resolve the issue. Please avoid sending account passwords or sensitive financial information. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and applicable obligations.

Sharing, retention, and processing locations

Advertising and embedded web services process information as described above, under their own policies. They may process information outside your country. Their retention periods and deletion procedures are determined by those services. Removing the app does not automatically delete information already processed by an external provider.

The developer does not operate an app account or cloud progress database. For local progress, manage the app’s data and device backups. For data processed by Google or Forex Factory, use those providers’ privacy controls and request channels.

Your choices and requests

You can change tracking permission in iOS or iPadOS, use the privacy controls offered by embedded services, and delete the app’s local data. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of personal information. Contact the developer about information you have sent directly to support.

Children

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to the developer through support, contact us. A store content rating does not mean advertising or embedded websites collect no data. Parents and guardians can manage device permissions and access to the app.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as the app or its services change. The date above identifies the current revision.
